why laptops touchpads not works with nails

ok first of all its not heat or weight sensitive its programed to recognize a finger from other object that touch it. it uses sizing of your finger and it uses the differencial in the pressure of different areas of your finger, to understand try to use a foreign object on it then use a piece of paper over your finger. you can use as many layers of paper you want therefore its not heat sensitive yet if you put another object over the paper it will not move because it doesn't match your fingers diminsions. now if you were to get a fake finger that felt oddly like a real one it will work also
